"Still Won't See Me" speaks on the theme of realizing that sometimes you can give your all in attempts to gain validation from someone and at the end of the day, you gain zero recognition for your efforts. This spoken word piece was written towards the end of me preparing for my album. I was inspired by the bible scripture John 1:5 " The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." I resonated with this scripture because I've overcome so much pain in my life. I will not be consumed by darkness, because the light of Jesus will shine through me. This piece that I wrote is telling my story through a different viewpoint.
